Erwan GUEGUEN, PhD with HDR
I have been an assistant professor at the University of Lyon since 2012. I obtained my HDR in 2021. I teach about 220 hours per year of genetics and molecular microbiology to 3rd year undergraduate students and 1st and 2nd year Master's students. In my research, I am trying to determine how pectinolytic plant pathogenic bacteria can colonize a wide variety of hosts. To do this, I use molecular microbiology approaches to characterize the function of genes involved in the virulence of bacteria of the genus Dickeya and Pectobacterium.
